Registration of the electronic preliminary informing (EPI) in the territory of the Russian Federation
The electronic preliminary informing (EPI) of customs authorities has been mandatory since June 2012, on the basis of the decision of the Commission of the Customs Union No. 899 "On the introduction of mandatory preliminary information on goods imported into the customs territory of the Customs Union by road." A notification with detailed information on the shipments and imports of goods into the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is sent to the customs authorities at least two hours in advance. As a document of confirmation, Customs shall assign an identification number to the shipment.
The law was introduced to facilitate the process of customs processing and customs control and increase the capacity of entry checkpoints at the State border of the Russian Federation.
But there is no need for you to delve into the nuances of registration; Declarant Online will take care of this part. After receiving the electronic request, we will issue you an EPI in a timely and quality manner and send the number to the driver’s phone immediately.
